As a woman who grew up in the 90's and 2000's, I remember the shame and guilt I felt about not being a certain size or looking a certain way. I'm tired of the "drill sergeant" motivation, it doesn't help you change (as much as you think it does!) Don't worry, it doesn't mean I'm letting you off the hook. It simply allows you to understand yourself and make necessary changes that align with your future self. No shame coaching here, but maybe a little tough love.
Empowering women to lift weights is one of my passions in life. I have over 15 years of experience in the fitness field with a Bachelors in Kinesiology. It doesn't have to be boring or scary to start, but it can be without the right guidance. I guide women over 35 to build strong bodies and minds so they can live their best life with energy and confidence. Whether you decide to join my group strength or individualized programming, you will learn all the basics and how to maintain a strength training routine long-term.
Changing is hard. Contrary to what you may have heard, you can't hack your way to it if you want it to stick around long-term. Regardless of which program you choose, this will be the core. It all begins with getting to know and understand yourself. Change is messy and definitely not linear and that's ok. Allow me to guide you through the process.
